Ansel Adams
He was born on the 20th February 1902, and died on April 22nd 1984.
He was an American environmentalist and photographer well known for his black and white landscape photographs.
To get the results he got, he used 'zone system' which is a technique that Ansel Adams created in the 1930's. It is a standerized way of working that guarantees a correct exposure in every picture, and many similar conditions that are most likely gpoing to throw off your camera's metering giving you a completely incorrect exposure.

He trained in the University of Minnesota and was influenced by Ralph Eugene Meatyard.

Mario Giacomelli was a self-taught photographer and at the age of 13, he left high school, and began to work as a typesetter, as he spent his weekends painting.
